1949, registered airmail cover addressed to Toronto, Canada bearing SYS Gold Yuan surcharged issue $100 on $1 green, SYS Gold Yuan Dah Tung first printing $500, seven $1,000, and two Gold Yuan surcharge on revenue stamps $200 on $500, tied by bilingual cds of Chengtu dated 4 Apr 1949, with transit cds of Shanghai dated 6 Apr, various Canadian transits and arrivals, and Toronto Duty Free marking. Rate $8,000 (international airmail $1,500 + airmail surcharge 10 gram $4,300 + registration surcharge $2,200) lasted only 11 days between 1 Apr and 11 Apr 1949, opened on three sides.

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
