1905, 6-Farben-Frankatur mit 9 Marken von 1 C auf 3 Pf bis 1 1/2 $ auf 3 M als Telegramm-Gebühr für ein "offenes" FELD-TELEGRAMM aus TIENTSIN(CHINA)/DEUTSCHE POST, 30.1.06, auf dem Telegramm handschriftlich vermerkt die Gebühr "6 $ 75 cts" sowie "Irrtümlich Betrag in Marken verklebt. T-Annahme". Von der ursprünglichen Gesamtfrankatur fehlt eine 1 $ Marke, die vorhandenen Marken entsprechend mit Nennwert 5 $ 75 cts. "Offene Telegramme" dieser Art waren nicht zulässig sondern mussten zusätzlich mit einem codierten Telegramm aufgegeben werden. Die Gebühr von 6 $ 75 cts, umgerechnet 12 Mark, entspricht daher auch der Offiziers-Gebühr für 2 Telegramme. Telegramme der Deutschen Post in China mit "Dollar"-Währung frankiert waren bisher nicht bekannt. EINE AUSSERGEWÖHNLICHE RARITÄT! ÷ 1905, 6-color franking with stamps, from 1 C on 3 Pf to 1 1/2 $ on 3 M, used as telegraph fee for an "OPEN" FIELD-POST telegram from TIENTSIN(CHINA)/DEUTSCHE POST, 30.1.06, on the telegram manuscript notation of the fee "6 $ 75 cts" as well as "Irrtümlich Betrag in Marken verklebt. T-Annahme (fee erroneously compensated by using stamps. T-receiving office)". A single "1 $ stamp" from the original franking is missing, the stamps being present added together have a face value of 5 $ 75 cts. "Open" telegrams of this kind were not permitted, they had to be sent together with an encoded telegram. The fee 6 $ 75 cts, converted 12 Mark, corresponds with the officer's fee for 2 telegrams. Telegrams from German Post Offices in China franked with stamps in dollar currency were not known yet. AN EXCEPTIONEL RARITY!

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
