1840-1949 INCREDIBLE OLD COLLECTION An ancient Queen Victoria to King George VI mostly used collection on old album pages with a fair amount of mint scattered throughout. Starts with an impressive array of eight 1840 1d blacks (three of these with four margins) plus a 2d blue (this also with four margins), 1841 1d x13 and 2d x3, then continues with 1854-57 1d and 2d range, 1858-79 1d plates big range of over 120 incl a few mint, plus 2d x6, 1870 ½d plates x7 (one is mint) plus 1½d x6, surface printed issues good ranges incl 1855-57 4d, 6d, and 1s, 1865-67 10d, 1872-73 6d plate 11 (mint), 1867-83 5s plate 2, 1873-80 8d orange x2, 1883-84 2s6d, 5s, and 10s, 1883-84 4d to 1s dull green set (the colours reasonable) plus 6d mint, Edward VII to 2s6d x4, 5s x2, 10s, and £1, 1911 (9 SEP) First UK Aerial Post card, 1913-19 Seahorses range with 2s6d x12 (one is mint), 5s x3, and 10s, 1924-25 Wembley sets both mint and used, 1934 2s6d, 5s, and 10s Seahorses plus 2s6d mint, KGVI incl 1939-48 10s dark blue, Postage Dues incl 1914-22 set, 1924-31 to 2s6d, Officials incl "IR". "OW", "Army", "Govt Parcels" incl 1883-86 1s orange-brown, "Admiralty" etc, plus much else. Messily arranged on scruffy pages and some stamps with faults, but with but with a good representation and much of value.
