1875/80: 20 lepta deep blue on cream with figures on reverse in ultramarine, variety figures "20" inverted, the "ARGOSTOLIAN" error, used on a letter sheet on November 16, 1877. The stamp was separated from the letter and replaced with a hinge to show this variety. The addressee's name has been cut out. One of the rarest figure varities of Greece (only two known on cover.) Certificate Holcombe, Simmermacher BPP. ÷ 1875/80 20 Lepta preußischblau mit kopfstehender Kontrollziffer (sog. Argostolion Fehler). Die Marke voll- bis breitrandig geschnitten, einwandfrei erhalten und nicht repariert, sie ist vom Brief gelöst und mit Falz zurückgeklebt, um die kopfstehende Kontrollziffer zu zeigen. Der Name des Adressaten ist aus dem Brief ausgeschnitten. Es sind nur zwei Briefe mit dieser seltenen kopfstehenden Kontrollziffer nachweisbar.
