1954 Marian Year imperforate die proof with voided corners in the issued colour of the 3d, on thin, unwatermarked card. This is accompanied by 7 etchings/prints used by A.R. Lane as inspiration, also a "Compliments" card from De La Rue in London showing the Madonna by Andrea della Robbia used for the final engraving. A marvellous assembly ideal for Exhibit, the Proof is unique in private hands. SG 158P, Mi. 121M, Hib. C45P.
