Ireland Tyrone Military 1840 cover from Drumquin to the East India Company (retired soldier Felix Shields enquiring about Burmese Prize Money due to him), with framed fancy "N^o,3" Receiving House of Drumquin and black italic "Omagh/Penny Post" to London, posted unpaid and charged “2” twopence unpaid rate for a single letter, backstamped OMAGH MR 14 1840, Dublin MR 15 40 transit, and London MR 17 1840 arrival. Drumquin maintained a local post to Omagh (the penny payable abolished on 10 January 1840)
