1843-2003: Postal history and stamp collection in three stockbooks, with more than 130 covers, postcards, parcel cards and postal stationery items as well as the 1918-1940 stamps and souvenir sheets used and the 1990-2003 issues mint never hinged. This impressive collection starts with early mail from Lithuania as 1843 cover from Wilno to Warsaw and early Russian postal stationery envelope 10+1k. used from Wilno in 1855, also with later Russian stamps on covers and postal stationery used from Lithuania, German WWI field post, and the 1920 local Tel?iai (Telschen) stamp used on regsitered cover (Mikulski certificate), followed by the Lithuanian stamps and covers from 1918 including a lot of scarce items like first issue (10s. and 15s.) on registered cover, 1918 30s. in combination with WWI German Occ. stamp on p/s card, 1920 'National' set of five as special edition on pieces, the 1924 'Lithuanian Cross' 25c. blue on paper with Wmk 'Intersecting diamonds' and the airmail issues (perf and imperf and on cover) including 1935 'Vaitkus' flight 40c as well as the Chicago Commitee vignette on covers from New York (Mikulski certificate for the vignette on cover), the 1941-44 German Occ. period with some stamps, covers and postal stationery including scarce covers like 1941 'Vilnius' Locals cpl. set on cover (Krischke cert.), and the modern issues (1990-2003) with stamps, souvenir sheets, booklets and postal stationery. An extraordinary collection with a lot of highlights, and almost fine to very fine condition (far above average, exhibition quality).

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
