BRITISH AFRICA WITH MUCH VERY FINE USED A rather untidy collection housed in one large album containing a Basutoland to Zimbabwe collection of stamps spanning the 1850's to the 1990's. Noteworthy for it's high percentage of nice cds used stamps we also see mint stamps throughout (from the 1890's onwards). Typically the first six pages include such things as the Basutoland 1938 definitives set used, Bechuanaland 1938-52 definitives set used, Botswana with nice postal cds used modern pictorials, Br Central Africa small 1 page range cat £180+, Br East Africa small 1 page range cat £160+ and so on through to modern Zaire & Zambia, Zanzibar on 3 pages easily cat £250+, Zimbabwe with nice postal cds used issues etc, etc. Many useful stamps but needs a new home as these homemade album pages are not so attractive!
