NEPAL. 1908 (Sept.). BARDIYA (Nepal) to KATHMANDU. Nepal/India combination cover routed via Jamnaha and Raxaul (India). The fact that the Nepalese 1 anna stamp was not cancelled would indicate that this letter was carried by private courrier to the nearest Indian P.O., Jamnaha: at the time, there were no facilities for the exchange of mails between the post offices located near the India/Nepal border. VERY RARE and probably unique combination franking classic NEPAL/INDIA. Ex C. HELLRIGL.
