EXPO 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai

For many years Poland has been an active participant of the World Expositions - the largest and most prestigious promotional and economic events in the world. Expo 2020 Dubai is an opportunity for Poland to strengthen its positive image on the international arena, to present Polish culture and to promote itself economically. The aim of the event is a multidimensional presentation of technologies and companies representing strategic industries in terms of export potential to Middle Eastern markets, and thus a real increase in business transactions.
The stamp issue, postponed from 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The stamp featured a visualisation of the Poland Pavilion. Poland is among an exclusive group of several dozen countries that are building their own pavilion at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai. The Polish Pavilion will be the main arena for presentations and a vehicle for information about Poland. The author of the project and of the architectural and thematic concept is the Warsaw-based WXCA studio. The Pavilion's architecture clearly refers to the motto of mobility. It creates an open, expanding modular structure, which invites visitors to relax in the shade of the expansive canopy and to contemplate the installation - a kinetic sculpture of a flying flock of birds - floating above their heads.
