(This is exactly the same as posting a 100g item from France to Australia, and cheaper than France for a 125g item) (You can get most orders of stamps ONLY in this size, but only one or two small covers or MS, which must be must be below this (125x235mm DLX) size to fit.) |
Large Size
| 260x360x20mm up to 250g is $12.50 (This is LESS than it costs for the same service from France to Australia, 8€) (You can get a lot of items in this size, it is the size of an A4 sheet of paper, it will be the most common size for multiple covers (about 5-6) and larger MS.
250g is a good weight allowance.) |

International Buyers Technically Stamps Purchased are considered as Goods for Australia Post Regulations. Small items can easily be mailed as Airmail letters, but once you start buying a lot of covers and larger sized items, it is quite clear to the Postal Services that this “letter” contains “goods”. The only way to Track and Insure items from Australia is by the Parcel Post Service. I do what I can to keep costs down, but choosing a Safe Shipping option is Your Responsibility. |
If you order LARGE items like FDC’s and Large sheetlets etc., then the PACKAGING to ensure they arrive safe and not wet or creased is generally heavier than the items.
